First book club meeting.  There are only a few of us, but we had a LOT to talk about.  I made bruschetta, homemade cupcakes, and of course there was wine!  Our first book was Unbroken.  It was very good, however, I was not prepared for the vividness of war and being a prisoner of war in Japan.  It was grueling, well written, and thorough.  The loved the ending.

I was in Jackson while this big event occurred...Carson was at school when it 'fell' out.  The Tooth Fairy came that night and left $5!  WHAT?  I told the fairy (during one of our secret telepathic conversations) it will be a few hundred dollars per child by the time they all fall out.  Carson has been trying to 'lose' a few more teeth to get some more money.

 Tyler on Dad's scooter.  Tyler put together the first annual Carson Reunion in Las Vegas.  We rented a HUGE house with amazing outdoor pools, games and living areas.  Tyler had collected pictures from everyone and put together a slideshow and packet for everyone to take home.  It was so much fun getting to know each other better as this was our first time all being in one place at one time.

So, I finally broke down and bought one of these suckers.  The one I purchased has a brush for your face and a brush for your body.  I decided to get the body brush since I opt out of being in the sun much and prefer airbrush tans.  Sometimes when the tan is coming off it can leave a weird discoloring so this might just do the trick...I'll let you know.  Primarily, I bought it for my face though.

Swim Float Swim is a National Organization that teaches kids survival swimming.  The instructors are all CPR certified, they have to keep up on their training and we LOVE it (except Crew). not sure why but Carson wanted a 'butt-part' hairdo  I love the flippers
