Jungle Book

We went to the Jungle Book Friday night. We had second row seats and the kids absolutely LOVED it. They were so good...we were all amazed. We all met at my house beforehand and had some homemade Pizzas, a funny fruit edible fruit creation, chocolate chip cookies & of course a glass of wine! It was a really fun night! Christy, thanks for getting the tickets!

Past few weeks...

We have been traveling like crazy the past 2 weeks. We were in Maui for an unexpected vacation...we flew home and were in Jackson for 15 hours ~ boarded another plane and flew to Phoenix for a wedding. Carson was the ringbearer. He was adorable. We stayed at the Biltmore and had a really great time. I did a little shopping...which I LOVE shopping in Phoenix/Scottsdale - it has great stores.

We actually LOST Carson in the hotel on Sunday. The little bugger ran out of the room, down the hall, pushed the elevator button and by the time we ran after him he was gone. The hotel is HUGE. We searched for about 15 minutes and John found him on the first floor! It was REALLY scary! I wasn't sure if I was going to go into labor, throw up or cry. I am so glad it ended well! I can only imagine what could have happened. Thank you GOD for keeping him safe!!!!! Anyway, aside from that we had so much fun. Jackson is really grey and gloomy right now so it is awesome to get out of town.

2 baskets...

He had to stop hunting for eggs to eat some candy. He thought he saw his best friend Maddie there and so he was following a little girl around the lawn yelling 'maddie'. It wasn't her but needless to say he spent most of the hunt chasing a girl!!!

Look at all of those eggs...the Biltmore really knows how to have an egg hunt. Channel 3 was there for the big occassion and this was just one age division. There were SO many kids!

Tony & Tamlin's Wedding ~ Phoenix Arizona

We had such a great time in Arizona. The weather was perfect! We stayed at the Biltmore and it was a crazy weekend because it was spring training for baseball, the Houston Rockets were at our hotel, and Easter. The hotel is just beautiful. They had a ton to do for kids, marshmellow roasts, slides, firepits, Easter egg hunt...it was great!

Seriously, he LOVES his Maui football. He plays all day long. It is crazy. I thought I would get him in action!!

Carson loves the beach now. For a little while it didn't want too much to do with the sand and waves but now we can't keep him out of them. He still eats sand by the handfuls but it is getting a little better.

Easter Nest Eggs

Here we are in the shower working on a project that I thought would be really great for 2 1/2 year olds...was I EVER wrong! It involves mass amounts of sugar water, thread & balloons. It really was quite funny but I must say I ended up putting Carson and Maddie in the tub and finishing them.

Yes, that really is my BIG prego belly sticking into the photo...hahaha

Finally, the finished product. Two VERY time consuming nest eggs!!! I think we will try this again when they are 15!
