Santa made a pitstop...

We had one of Santa's helpers come to our house this year to give the kids a little holiday cheer.
Cam was just a bit shy and didn't want to sit on his lap but did enjoy receiving a gift.
 I love Carson's little smirk

Birthday, Wine, Boyfriend & Chinese Food

I love both of their facial expressions...Witney is grounded now.
 Wit & Crew
 Little Crew Crew turned 2
We got to mess around and play with Crew while Lily made us Chinese food - it was a treat.  Thanks Lily...the food was yummy!
I love this little boy to pieces.  He is so lovable and wants to cuddle with me all the time.  He loves Bauer and he loves his brothers.  He thinks he is an old man and sometimes he looks a little like an old man.  He is a bit sneaky and is starting to get a little bit naughty but I love him just the same.  He doesn't have a binky, no bottle, goes to sleep at 7:45pm on the dot and wakes up at 6:15am on the dot.  At least he is punctual, however, it would be nice if he could sleep in sometimes!  He loves food - he can eat more than the other 2 boys combined.  He loves his daddy.  He loves his new H&M digs.  My little Crew
Dad gave him a plasma car - he LOVES it.  It lives in the house.
 Tyler doing the plasma
Witney and her boyfriend, Carson (Cam thinks it is so funny that there is another boy named Carson).  Carson is darling, tall, handsome and polite - thanks for coming and meeting us all!
John and Crew - Crew is sporting his new pj's from grandma and grandpa Curry
I love this picture - thanks for taking it to whomever had my camera!

Thanksgiving 2011

Finished product.  Thanks Witney for putting it all together and creating such a beautiful place for us to enjoy each other.
utensils tied with ribbon, thankful cards and name cards downloaded from Pinterest
kids table - crayons, craft paper
Cam was so hungry he ate like 3 rolls before dinner was ready
centerpieces - red cranberries with white roses and purple ribbon

This salad is so delicious - it is our cousin Catherine's recipe and I don't dare attempt to make it nor do I have a platter this great to put it on so....Afton made it and brought it!  It was yum yum!
Tyler and Tori hard at work! Tori, Blayke, Dad and Paul made the drive to be with us all for Thanksgiving - which we are all so thankful they came.
Paul fried a turkey for us this year (we had 3 turkeys) - he is hard at work and it definitely paid off...super yummy!  Thanks Paul for being a part of our Thanksgiving and bringing me a tree (I'll post it tomorrow).
 Just chillin' out

Wow!  Looks so good - I want to sit there and have a glass of wine minus the grass showing (we are getting snow!)  LOVE it.

H&M in Utah - ya baby!

Crew is sporting his mod new outfit from the H&M store at Fashion Place Mall.  He LOVES his tie...now he is 'like Carson'.  We have to go buy Carson and Cam the same outfits (I'm not sure I am THAT committed to this look but hey skinny jeans and some spikey hair is probably as close as I will ever get to dressing a girl)!

Golf Birthday Party & A Royal Empress

I read about and ordered a Royal Empress tree for John & I's anniversary and his birthday.  These trees are suppose to grow like crazy animals and quadruple in size in a matter of time.  Unfortunately, for my little empress it snowed a few days after we planted it so my expectations are low.  My neighbors are laughing at me and John thinks I'm kind of naive for believing in such a small little twig but I do have HOPE.
For John's birthday I organized (with my brother's help) a golf scramble.  I thought it was a pretty great idea, however, I think I might have upset a few wives as their husbands were missing for most of Saturday.  Following golf we all met up at the country club for dinner.  Service was slow, food was ok but there was some really great friends and family.  Thanks for coming and paying for your own dinner (seriously, bad party planning on my part - I'll do better next time).

Tori Jo even drove down for his birthday WOOP WOOP.  Thanks Tori - John loves you...you rock!

Not sure what I am so pleased about or what john is blowing.

Shark Week...Scooby Doo...Puff

So, our first costumes of the year for Halloween were Shark Week.  John was the victim, I was press (like camera girl for channel 5 news), Carson, Cam and Crew were little sharks.
Our club does a Halloween Party every year and they put all these cute pumpkins all over the grassy area and then the kids decorate them with stickers and paint.
For Cam's second costume (because the shark costume he had on previously was actually for a dog and was Molson's costume) he chose a caramel brown Scooby Doo costume.  We borrowed it from Tyler and Jill - it has been in the family for about 12 years.  He was a perfect scooby - every few minutes he was on all fours with a wagging tail.  He wore it every day around the house.
Carson wanted to be a shark AGAIN this year so he was a shark.  I found a costume in my Halloween bin that I must have bought for one of the kids but they never wore - Puff the Magic Dragon.  Crew was a great dragon.  Crew was kind of confused about the costume thing but seemed to join right in.
Taylor kids - Ivy's little face (she is so funny).
