Petalbump...

I went with Jill to see Witney's dance production last night! It was ALL about dancing and singing ferries and how we need to try and see the world through the eyes of children! It was very cute and Witney did such a great job! I took little Vinny and he LOVED the music. He didn't make a peep...it was great!

Jazz Game

John's Birthday present was a '2-pack' of Utah Jazz tickets. The first game was the 29th and the second game is against the Boston Celtics in February! He chose to take me to the game!!! It was really fun. We ate Philly cheese steaks with really yummy terribly fattening cheese sauce all over it and I had the MOST enormous icecream.
We brought Carson home a BOOZER jersey and a little basketball...he loves it but not quite as much as his Tom Brady jersey.

Happy Birthday Honeybuns...

We went to John's FAVORITE - 'Ruth's Chris'

John flew to Jackson and picked up Aaron. So, Aaron was able to join us for dinner and they left this morning for a guys golf weekend!

He is actually 33!

Wit was dancing in SLC practically next door to Ruth's so she came and ate with us...yippee!

4 Years and counting...

4 Years
2 kids
1 dog
So, at the end of every day,
at night,
in bed,
while reading a book...
I ask Carson,
'so what was your most favorite part of the day today?'
Carson says,
'Jaxon, Cade or
Livies, Boston, Hayes
or
Witney, Camry
or
daddy.'
It makes me laugh because I expect him to say one of the hundred activites we participated in that day.
He always says 'little' people's names.
I have always heard and known in the back of my mind that children really do have the best advice and the most thoughtful answers.
When I was living in Jackson, after college, before California, after Europe, but before John - I came to see Tyler and the kids.
Witney was probably 5 or 6 at the time.
I was talking to Jill in their kitchen about how I just hadn't found anyone and I didn't like dating. Witney instantly chimed in and said 'well you are living in the wrong place...you need to live in Utah.'
Funny because I did finally find the right person, and I now live in Utah.
Things have a way of falling into place don't they?
Before John sometimes life felt more like a struggle - I think because I thought I had to work SO hard in order to be happy.
Knowing John has made me a better person (don't get me worng I was pretty awesome before)...but he brings out the parts of my personality I like best.
Pieces of my life just gently fall into their places...
a little bit of Magic seems to happen every single day!
So, if you, John were to ask me what my favorite part of my day was I too would say - 2 little people names and 1 really big name...
